We are five days into the year. The company you keep, the artists you refuse to employ at a fair living wage, the leadership you refuse to employ at a fair living wage, the jokes that you continue to laugh at, even though we’ve told you these are not jokes, and they’re dangerous….. They all contribute to the genocide of Black Trans Women. More than 50%, every year, of Trans homicides have been Black Trans Women. It’s very real, and it’s gotta stop.
