harry got a kick out of the secret code the two of you shared. it had started in the beginning of your relationship, neither of you fully sure how long what you had would last given his hectic schedule and inconsistent lifestyle. you’d both got a mischievous kick out of sending each other secret messages when you were around others, telling each other you liked an item of their clothing meaning that you wanted to leave the group, and, most likely, go make out somewhere. even as the relationship progressed, you kept the code, adding new phrases; ‘what have you been up to?’ meaning i love you. this was usually followed up with something less wholesome as you’d previously used ‘yoga’ as a replacement for your sex life, so when you’d tell someone how you’d been doing a lot more yoga recently, and they’d made some comment about how limber you must be getting, neither you nor harry could look at one another for fear of letting a laugh slip. even to this day, when your relationship was public, you both still got a small amount of twisted pleasure when using the code in front of other people. harry even loved doing it when you weren’t around, especially during interviews when he knew you’d be watching, teasing you through the screen by talking about how he loves to meditate to relax, understanding that you would interpret that as having him lapping between your legs and knowing that it’s cause a light blush to spread on to your cheeks when he came home later that day
