"Have you seen the game room yet? We've got just about any board game you could think of. No reason to be bored here at Terminus!"
"Don’t let me die"

There was no easy way to tell Lizzie that she was going to die, but with those words Sade knew that she knew. Sade wouldn't be the one to put Lizzie down, though. No, her hands were simply shaking at the thought of putting a child down.
Correction. Another child.
Sade was a firm believer in this world being survival of the fittest because there was no other way to even look at it, but that didn't mean it was kill or be killed. There could still be beauty in a world of survival of the fittest. Actually Sade fully believed that it was more beautiful than the world before.
Yes, there was death all around, but there was also more chance to actually know people and their good sides. To see a deer in a meadow and to decide to kill and feast or to just soak in the beauty. Perhaps that deer had a fawn with it, and that was a miracle on its own.
Life, although ending constantly for humans in the apocalypse, was a miracle and growing all around them. So putting down a twelve year old was not something Sade wanted to do. Not now and not ever.
"Lizzie, I can't stop it."
Her words were soft yet harsh. The reality hit her that no matter what she did they would still want to end her life - her damaged yet still precious life. The realization broke Sade's heart and she straightened from where she had crouched and took Lizzie's face, kissing her forehead.
Then a thought crossed her mind, and she swallowed.
"I can make sure they don't harm your brain." Sade stated. "I can make it so you, too, get your second chance."

"Chocolate doesn’t go bad right?"
Valentine's Asks for Zombieverse
It had been a long while since she had ate chocolate, seeing Lizzie discover a box from their last run was quiet surprising. The usual they’d find is a couple of cans and when they were lucky enough a bag of chips. The box had still been been in tact, dusty, though when opened there sat an assortment of chocolates in it’s own little wrapper. Trailing her gaze off to the other a smile lined along her lips. “Not really sure— though I wouldn’t mind as hell trying out a couple a pieces, what you think Liz..?”
