Well that was what she needed to hear today, wasn't it? Not even a phone call from her father, she had already tried calling him, she had done her part. Of course, what had she expected? For him to just drop everything and come home? No that would be asking too much. As she sat with her knees up, and her arms wrapped around her legs, her head rested where her knees were bent and she heard the words of encouragement from her friend. It caught her off guard, that was for sure. Her? Having a beautiful mind and a wonderful soul? That was a joke, right? No, Weather wasn't the type to make jokes like that-- or to even make jokes at all. She searched his face as she picked her head up. A small smile crossed her lips, and she fought back tears.
