he's supposed to stay secretive regarding his identity and the extent of his powers, but he is VERY easily provoked into bragging about who he is and all the illegal shit he’s done

this gets him into trouble often and his reaction is always “wtf i didn't even say anything” despite saying e v e r y t h i n g

so this is the primadonna everyone’s been asking about

mestiphen used to travel in the same performance troupe as najila, and eventually he joins the main group once he’s needed. he currently works as a potion/charm merchant and underground informant. he’s a mage, so he’s not entirely human, and he’s also one of the most powerful mages alive

...except magic is very much frowned upon and even illegal in some territories, and using magic for personal reasons or beauty is even worse. so that is exactly what mestiphen wants to specialize in

he’s prissy and overdramatic, but not selfish; he’s usually very well-mannered. he doesn’t care about what others think about him and does what he pleases. he’s the type who’d wear platform heels in the desert and complain about it but still refuse to take them off

if you lightly tapped him he’d probably break an arm. poor guy’s basically made of glass
