the number of pictures of people i have seen in which they are wearing literally just some average gown or black and white tie is fucking astonishing. there are literally thousands of iconic historical American looks that could have been worn as a reference to American fashion. like where are the gibson girls? the hollywood starlets? the jc leyendeckers? im so bored
