WHy does META-KUN have lenny face eyes?!!?
It’s not actually a lenny face, it’s a Henohenomoheji face, which is basically a face drawn with the Hiragana characters that make up its name. (へのへのもへじ)
The reason Meta Knight gets them is because he’s the one who drew the Meta-Kun comics, which is also the same reason they’re a bit more crudely drawn than the rest of the comic.
(Context for people who have no idea what I’m talking about.)
