Party at Seoul Plaza!

Ok, so it’s not a rave, but there’s a concert.

And we’ll be there!

So if you haven’t quite made your plans for this flash holiday, come by the lawn in front of City Hall. We’ll have members there from 4 p.m. onward til the concert at 7:00. No need to say it’s an open event. That means free~ We like free things, too.

Scheduled to be there are Lee Seung-Chul, Kim Yuna, Sistar, Ulala Session, Insooni, and the never disappointing Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Here’s an English article by Yonhap!

Branding of Cities

In this globalized world, city branding is becoming more and more important. Competition between cities across the world means that having a strong brand can effectively emphasize a city’s features to attract visitors, companies and residents.  

IAmsterdam

One famous example of strong city branding is the IAmsterdam campaign. Amsterdam strongest feature is its people. The people that live there, the people that work there, the people who study there and the people who visit Amsterdam, the people of Amsterdam are Amsterdam.  

The slogan IAmsterdam got so successful that a symbol of the campaign, the big 3D letters that spell out IAmsterdam, is now a must-see tourist destination.

ISeoul?

Do you know Seoul’s slogan? For past 13 years it has been HI Seoul. It contributed to building an attractive image of Seoul that made people come and visit from all around the world, but now it’s time to create a new Seoul brand. And for that we need you!
