We check out MetaCon for the first time and meet a ton of cool cosplayers! We had a load of fun at the con, checking out cosplay, vendors, and re-connecting with a lot of you!

MetaCon is an Sci Fi/Comic/Anime/TV/Music  Convention that takes place annually in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I spent the weekend collecting Deadpools : D

Got quite a few, I did, technically get the same one twice, but the second time they had a sombrero so I think it can be forgiven XD

MetaCon stuff continued!!!

While Sammie was cosplaying Ten we met a couple other Doctor cosplayers who were awesome, we kept running into them all weekend ^_^ if you recognize yourself let me know : D

Also saw a really good Vash which made me super happy!

Jasmine was an adorable Fem!Canada ^_^ we got a pic of her with Sammie when she cosplayed Cas on Saturday, also went to the Hetalia photo shoot

Sammie also did her Yarn!Pocalyps at a variety of times during the con, that thing was utterly horrendous in the best of ways XD

During this last weekend’s MetaCon in Minneapolis, a fist fight broke out. It wasn’t between a couple of angry teenagers, nor was it between belligerent drunks who had a few too many at the hotel bar. No, it was between MetaCon owner and AnimeCon.org CEO Ryan Kopf and vendor David Silvieus of “PLUSH in the USA.” And it happened in the vendor room while it was open on a Saturday. The incident is, frankly, an amazing one. We’ve talked to both sides along with a couple of witnesses, and tried to piece together what we believe to be the most accurate account of what happened. We also think it’s safe to say that there is no hero to this tale, only degrees of villain. But I don’t think anyone is surprised by that.
