Gosh, that is really awful. I haven't known you for long, but I really like you so far and have joy reading your RPs. Take your time to calm down. Everyone needs a break now and then. You can always come back when you feel

I know I can't offer much, but just do what you need to do and have a good rest. It's been a long year and sometimes a break is needed. I wish you the best of luck in the future and I hope things improve for you

((Thank you everyone for all your kind words and support, they really mean a serious lot to me. I will still be around and throw out replies now and then, but I will be a bit slower just to take a bit of a breather. I feel a bit better than yesterday, but it might take some time before I will fully get over the things that happened. No worries, I’m not going anywhere, I love Ornstein way too much to do that and got way too involved in his character. Neither will Ornstein change, he will remain the exact same way as before. Of course I might tweak small things over time, but overall he will remain the same. I love this Drake-boi... c: ))

The problem with cats #3

Within the space of two days our cats Miles and Henry have caused enough trouble to rival that of all before them. A tip for anyone who is going to get a kitten/cat and who already have a cat/kitten: NEVER let one eat the other’s food. Here’s why.

So Miles refuses to eat when left alone in the laundry and I made the executive decision to bring his food inside, in the hope that he would eat it. But all day Miles ate Henry’s food and vice versa.

Cut to 8:30pm when I am enjoying a shower. Mum yells at me to get out because of an emergency: Miles pooped all over our brown, wood-grain, laminate floor and my sister had stepped in some. To top things off, Henry did one of his trademark toxic smelling turds right next to where Mum was cleaning.

I know that I’m not alone in owning smelly (teenage) dirtbag cats. Wheetus is their overlord.

The problem with cats #2

Something I didn’t include in the first installment of “The problem with cats” is that Miles is a baby seal.

So for the past few days Miles has been inside while we humans have been taking a shower/bath. While we have been cleaning, Miles has watched us intensely and tried to hop up on the side of the bath/open the shower door.

Last night I heard my sister call for mum. I thought she was asking to have help drying herself after getting out of the bath, when a wet orange blob comes tearing out of the bathroom and shakes itself in front of me. The freaking cat wasn’t bothered about the water! This has happened with a previous cat of mine who used to get in the blow up pool and splash around but I never thought I would come across another like her.

Also… he likes watching me on the loo…O.O

Is it only me with such… unique cats?

The problem with cats

So, we got a ginger kitten recently whom we called Miles (*cough* Edgeworth *cough*). However, our other cat Henry did not like having another cat around. At all. Mum mentioned that he is sad and that we had better keep him inside more so that he doesn’t run away.

You see, in the past I have had two cats run over and killed in front of my house so this made me especially paranoid. After having Henry live inside for the past five days Mum decided to let him have a run around outside this morning before I got up. Once I had dragged myself out of bed, I preceded to feed the animals: Miles the kitten, Sasha the Marema x Border Collie (read polar bear) and Henry the cat.

There was one problem though. Henry wasn’t there. Normally he would hang around until after he is fed and would then go off and sleep somewhere, but today he was nowhere to be seen. I thought to myself, “That’s odd. He should be fine though. Maybe. I just have to pray that he comes home safely. ”

*30 minutes later*

I was eating breakfast when Henry climbed over the fence and proceeded to sit on the recycling bin while Sasha sniffed at him. Mum yelled at Sasha to leave him alone and so Henry hobbled over to the door and came inside. He was sopping wet, covered in cobwebs, panting and shaking while dragging his left hind leg as he walked.

One vet bill later we found out that Henry had torn a ligament in his knee so that when he walked it popped out of place. The vet told us that the cause was that he had probably caught his leg on something and tore the ligament as he pulled it free. We were also told that he had to remain indoors for the next two weeks. At least I can keep an eye on him.

Surely I’m not the only one whose pets are so troublesome?
