"Metalfarm" (also known as Cyberfarm or y2kfarm) is a niche aesthetic that synthesizes the styles of Metalheart with traditional American farming aesthetics.
Via CARI Aesthetic Institute: Metalfarm combines the visual signifiers of Metalheart, such as complex vector graphics and chrome materials, with an emphasis on farm-related subjects such as cows, tractors, and ears of corn shared with other quintessentially Gen Z design nanotrends such as AgriSleaze and CowSoft.
"Metalfarm edits" are currently one of the top trends on Tiktok. 73% of Gen Zers surveyed say they "strongly wish" they were an "infomorph farmer on a virtual cyberfarm in an alternate-timeline version of 2003".
