hi! so i was listening to Of Monsters and Men, and I realized that half of the songs describe Castle on a Cloud, especially "King and Lionheart." If you've never heard it before, I highly reccomend it. :)

aaaaah yes i’ve been waiting for some cas!

❤️ ~~ one night dean, cas and sam found a bar close to the motel of the week. while they were waiting for their drinks sam went to the bathroom so dean and cas thought they would share a few pecks. dean’s arm was around cas and they were very much not hiding their relationship, because why should they? a big guy walked up to them and started talking down to them; calling them fags and disgusting. dean was getting ready to defend them when cas looked up at the guy, dark and squinting eyes and pursed lips. “the only thing disgusting i see in here is someone who is judging two men for their love when they know nothing of love themselves.” the guy got ready to knock him out, but cas caught his fist in the air and held it so tightly the guy started whimpering. he backed out and left the bar in pain. “that’s my guy. he’s with me,” dean proudly told everyone around them and pulled cas closer. “my boyfriend. defending my honor,” he grinned and kissed cas again with scarlet cheeks.

👑 ~~ when cas is in the impala at night he likes to look outside to see the stars. but he doesn’t just see the light dots on the black canvas. he’s knows the story of every star, knows the truth about the planets and how the constellations were formed. when he looks at the sky he doesn’t just see stars, he sees his own memories from lifetimes ago. he remembers how they used to look and how they used to be arranged. he recalls a time when there many more stars in the sky, and when the moon was seen clearer from earth. he can pinpoint the exact age of every one of them, and he can connect every tiny dot to a remarkable event; even if said event never made it to the history books. he remembers the way the sky looked when the first human created fire, and he will never forget the stars reflected in the eyes of cleopatra when she knew what she had to do to save herself and her children. to cas, looking up at the stars is like meditating; it’s a relief, it’s a moment to breathe. it’s like going through an old photo album and rekindling with dear friends.
