Luna was in the small kitchen of her apartment. She was putting out everything she and Noah would need to make Naomi a welcome bake cake. Just as she’d finished getting down the last mixing bowl and putting in on the counter, she heard a knock on her apartment door. Figuring it was Noah, she opened it without bothering to look through the peephole. “Now that is perfect timing” she said to her cousin.
