Steve could feel a drop of sweat rolling down the back of his spine. It wasn't really all that hot out, not compared to last week, but the breeze was being more than a little stingy -- and the shirt Steve was wearing felt uncomfortable on his skin. It was brand-new, just like everything else he was wearing, and not even close to anything he'd pick out for himself. But, he had it on good authority that he looked the part he was playing, which was important since he needed people who had seen his face in a news report to dismiss it as being recognizable. For now, he was part of a couple, on vacation and enjoying a few comforts offered by the resort he and his partner were at.
"Are you hot?" Steve turned his head to the side, and glanced mournfully at Sam through the dark lenses of his sunglasses. "It's not just me, right?" Reaching up, Steve tugged at the collar of his shirt. It was already unbuttoned one button lower than he'd normally choose to leave, but he didn't even try to put it back when yet another slipped loose. Admittedly, it probably had more to do with the fact that he knew they were being watched than the temperature -- and maybe the fact that Steve wasn't a spy, by nature -- but he was standing by it being a little warm.
When he spotted movement across the street, Steve reached out to snag Sam's drink and took a sip of it -- his was long gone. And maybe he took the time to appreciate what Sam had on. Neither of them had been able to pick what they were wearing, but Sam -- well, he wore everything well. It wasn't the first time Steve had taken notice of that, but it was the first time he allowed it to show, tugging his sunglasses down and tucking them away in the open vee of his shirt.
