Ok so this is a simple dessert recipe that I have and wish to share with y'all. It's always a big hit at family dinners.
It's called pumpkin pie dip.
Start with a big mixing bowl and a spoon/spatula.
Toss in one regular can of pumpkin puree. You can use a larger can if you want, but it'll be a double batch, so double the other ingredients if that's what ya want.
Then add one regular box of vanilla pudding mix. Doesn't matter the brand, or sugar free if your trying to be conscious of intake. Whatever suits ya.
Then add one tub of cool whip.
Finally, add your choice of spices. This can vary from person to person, but think things like cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, or even just a general "pumpkin pie spice" if you can find it. I usually start with about s tablespoon, then add to taste.
Then Mixy mixy untill its all a smooth consistency. It'll be harder to mix if the tub is frozen so it's OK to let it thaw a bit before adding.
Then let it chill in the fridge. It'll firm up in a couple hours. You can even freeze it if you want to keep it for longer.
And that's the dip! It's usually best to eat with sweet crackers, like nilla wafers and Graham crackers.
Enjoy! May it bring you joy and comfort during these tumultuous times.
Oh, ONE potluck recipe the day after won’t hurt, will it?
