Too many years ago to count The Star Blotter found his way out of the void, not that anyone particularly noticed. The voidwalkers kept up their worship, and the "stars" just kept shining bright in the sky without interruption. He spent his time running through worlds, alone and unaware there was another option. That is, until he pulls his comm out with too much force and the glitching screen sends him onto Hermitcraft. Now trapped and convinced other players are no different than the mobs he runs until he's caught. Cornered and scared, can Moss learn what it means to be loved? What it means to live here, on earth, instead of floating in the void?

And what of who he was before? Will it even matter come the end?

Ok, ok, ok, im brainstorming here rn and Inwanna make team BEST the four horsemen of the apocalypse (war, famine, death, pestilince (plague)) and death is taken by skizz no readjustments, but which would you assign bdubs? I said war, but you could sway me on that if you disagree

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure? War implies something either more tactical, with more strategizing, or something more hostile?

But I think it could work, something about the brutality of war and how some people can rationalize the acts of violence committed. Kind of like Bdubs does in Last Life and Limited Life, where he explained the difference between Tango's LL boogey death and Bdubs' LimLife boogey death being that "he was happy" with Last Life while in Limited Life he wasn't.

And like they exist around peoples lives and near each other and its mostly shennagiangs but also the world is falling apaft because theyre irresposible.

they never really gave much though to how they existed. They never really cared. All that mattered was that they where alive and they existed to help.

But their version of help wasn't the version their host would think of.

Anti was the red-filter, black-out, wall-punching rage that came when you'd been so pissed off, you didn't think, you acted. There was no room for rationality, only pure, unfiltered, burning, white-hot rage thay sat deep in you chest and couldn't be contained.

Jackie was the overly positive toxicity that didn't let you show your pain to others. The kind that wanted only to focus on the good times and ignore the bad. Why focus on the negative when the happy times where right there?

Marvin was the willful ignorance. The refusal to admit you where wrong or to better yourself. You know what's going on, you know what happened, you know how it all went down, why on Earth would you need to better yourself? There was no such thing as "learning more" when Marvin was around.

Henrik was the naive trusting. The belief that everyone is good and that they wouldn't let you down. You trusted them not to hurt you and ignored it when they did. Henrik was the trust without bounds that would harm you time and time and time again.

Chase was the self-serving pity. The kind that wallowed and withered and chipped away at your confidence. The kind that refused to leave. It was the selfishness that demanded acknowledgment and refused to allow for anything else. You where hurt, why shouldn't you feel bad?

JJ was the people pleasing, the kind that wanted to help and give until there was nothing left for people to take. "Yes, I can do that for you. I can totally cover your shift. Please like me, I need you to like me," the kind of pleasing that destroyed you and others around you.

The toxicity that invaded everyone tool up physical form in Jack's mind. No one knew why, no one could understand why, but they weren't leaving.

And Jack wasn't really sure he wanted them to...
