My partner and I were just watching the half-hour highlights and human interest story round-up that our local NBC affiliate, WRAL, is airing after the 7 o'clock local newscast. My smol blonde meteorological wife, Kat Campbell, and one of the other newscasters, Ashley Rowe (the one who cameoed on the "America Decides" ep of Succession), were hosting it and talking about a little story on how the ski jumpers train. First, they start on a trampoline, then they progress to a pool, and finally they take to the snow. At the end of the story, Ashley Rowe said something about the skiers jumping off a ramp into a pool, and in the most chipper little way possible, Kat Campbell said, "That looks like it hurts!" You know a bitch cracked up! 🤣 Kitty Kat Campbell, I luv you, and you're my Roman Empire!
