I've been rewatching Castlevania recently and I noticed something that's so perfect I'm exposing you to it you have no choice

Because Alucard is quite distant and aloof in person. There's a lot of wit and snark in there and more often than not he'll opt to keep to himself. But the very moment they're away he just can't help but bring up the people he loves/cares for Constantly. He's so subtle in the way that he loves people and then you take two steps back and he literally Isn't

It's so sweet. He's like, oh this, this is the girl who broke my house, don't look at this doll I made of her and her boyfriend. I'll tell you I'm agreeing to do this, because my mother would approve. You want me to teach you monster hunting? Chop chop, into the Belmont Hold, I think Belmont would like me to do that. Did I tell you how remarkable my mother was? What's that? You drink? You know, I know someone who drinks

The nostalgia is super strong in him everytime his loved ones are away from him. He gets attached really quickly too, if you noticed. I think it’s because he’s been lonely this whole time. 🥺

As much as I love young Lulu, I can’t wait to see battle-hardened and matured Alucard in Nocturne S2 though. I think he will be much more subtle and more accepting of the fact that people come and go.

Having lived for so long, I’m sure he has mourned and lost people enough times at this point. It’ll be interesting to see him less …fumbley, for lack of a better word, and more headstrong, sure.

Hope this isn't too explicit, but as an expert on the matter (lmao) If I may add my two pennies to the domming for Alucard discussion. Being gentle and reassuring is a must. He needs to feel safe and comfortable, and if it takes showering him with praise, then dammit we're about to grow a faucet.

But also what is the Point if you don't turn him into a babbling, blithering mess underneath you. If you don't tease him stupid and make him writhe and beg for your touch. If you don't cut your palm open and let him lick blood off your fingers. He should feel like a mindless fool for at least a full minute after you're done with him and I Rest my Case.

Whether he’s domming you or you’re domming him, somebody will be writhing and begging, reduced to a mindless state of utter bliss. A lot of edging, teasing, overstimulation. Otherwise, that just ain’t it.

If it isn’t animals humping in the undergrowth (👀), it’s tender and loving. No in-between. That’s the dynamic.

Especially in the beginning or exploratory period, Lulu needs reassurance to feel safe enough to be so vulnerable. He needs to be peppered with kisses, showered with affection and tenderness.
