Sorry if you've heard this before but I don't like the Mulan modern girl because she doesn't seem like a modern teen like the other girls. I get that it's totally the artist's choice to represent her/ do fan art however they want but?? like it makes me uncomfortable because of how media has Asians seem rigid and cold? like Mulan looks like she's going to war AGAIN why can't she just be a free teen?? idk I just felt that I could not let this go with addressing it. ~Julian

There are a lot of modern versions of Mulan, that show her as a regular teenager. I wanted to do something different.
