Remember way back when, when there was that idea in the livestream for metrowinged about having the sheath for the angel blade between the wings? That could work for the armored cosplays that some people are doing now. yeah.

THAT SOUNDS AWESOME.

But I am not playing an angel so I won’t need an angel blade. However, I’ll put this in the tags for the others =D

do you guys have any ideas to lend me about how Castiel's armor should actually look? I've got his clothing down, I just don't know what to do with his armor. it can't be terribly extravagant because he's not high up in the ranks, but I'd still like it to be knight-ish.

Hey, Sam! I was wondering if you could possibly do me a huge favor? I saw the design you made for Isa's Boy King and it was astounding and I don;t want you to have to come up with another one, but I was wondering if you could help me come with ideas for "angelic armor with chains" that ISa suggested? If you don't feel like it then that is A-okay, but what I have sketched out is thoroughly unimpressive right now.

I am happy to design any number of these angelic or demonic armored costumes! Okay maybe not “any number” but I will happily help out a friend in need. I shall post your design and tag you in a moment!

Ohmygosh! I have been staring at your knight Abaddon cosplay inspiration board for so long I am absolutely in love and cannot wait to see it made! Your cosplays are absolutely fabulous and I can't believe I helped inspire such a great designs wowowow I cannot wait to see the costume I bet you are going to do an amazing job and your art is great it displays the costume perfectly, wow I'm fangirling really hard at your designs!

Megawinged

Okay, before you all stab me with your angel blades, hear me out and we'll decide what to do

Metrocon is halfway through July. In Tampa. ......in FLORIDA Some of you weren't part of this before, but not only are we going to have wings strapped to our backs, we're are going to be mostly covered in armor. Let that sink in a little bit. Did you get an image? Does the image smell like roughly ten angels/demons/hunters sweating their asses off because trust me, there will be perspiration

But Isa, how do we avoid it? Unfortunately, we can't. It's Florida, it's hot until the months where it is blazing (coughcoughMetrocon)

Isa, is there anything we can do?!

I propose we move this to Megacon. Megacon? Yes, MEGACON

For one, it's in March. Not a necessarily "cool" month but a shitton more manageable than July.

For two, it has space. People last year will remember trying to wobble through artist ally to get to anywhere..... it's just not good There are entire hallways that are empty at Megacon. There's the popular spot between the four escalators that would work for pictures, as well as outside (where Hetalia usually hangs or where the Disney shoot usually is), and also those staircases that no one uses. Brilliant.

For three, it's not forever away timewise. Metrocon is nine months away. That's enough time to make an entire human. I know I'll personally get distracted in the meantime and work on everything else, throwing this to the backburner when it really should be worked on consistently. Megacon is five months away! That's more than enough time to put together foam armor and it gives extra time to those of us making wings That way we can work on it consistently (without rushing) but it also won't be something so far away that we'll "get to it later"

So, there you go, Who wants to be Megawinged?

Sam and I might actually start fighting over who rules hell at the con The way it's planning out, Abaddon and Boy King of Hell will duke it out with their swords and armor and there will be a huge mess with a lot of casualties And then Crowley will be on the side like "doo-doo-doo", pick up the crown, and walk away

Hey y’all, I’m gonna be doing Crowley for Metrowinged! I’m really excited to be apart of the group, cause I sort of fangirled over the event from afar the last time. I’m thinking of a dark, sinister kind of armor along with a crown, since he’s the king of Hell. The crown will probably be cracking or damaged because at the moment he’s kind of lost his rank to Abbadon. (Just a bit of a starting idea)
