Adain remained quiet, swallowing hard as she brushed his tears away with her thumbs. A hand remained on his cheek and her gaze flickered over Jason as he continued. There was a slight choking sound from her as she coughed and swallowed the lump that had risen in her throat.

His emotions were searing into her and that combined with what he was saying brought an intense pain to her chest, features shifting into a mask of confusion and concern.

"Jason-" She started, her voice dropping to nearly a whisper. "I don't g- I don't- what are you talking about?"

‘Your mind is racing.’ Joseph breathed when he pulled away. ‘Quiet now, do you understand?’ He placed his hand loosely around the other’s neck.

Jason's words had taken her by surprise, her breath briefly hitching in her throat. Adain chewed on her bottom lip for a moment. It was bound to come sooner or later, they had both been feeling it and dancing around the subject for far too long.

Her hands lifted to caress his face and she kissed him tenderly before pulling back to meet his gaze.

"I do." She started, already beginning to feel the weight from the words they'd left unsaid lifting from her chest. "I love you so much, Jason."

Solanine was confused by the man’s words. “Not good for me, what?” He presser his lips together, cocking up an eyebrow as he pondered again; did Jason not wanna be around him any longer? “Jason that’s crazy talk, you’ve been nothing but good around me—what the hell could you saying this for.“ The baby vampire could sense there was something off, but since his powers weren’t as strong it couldn’t pick up on it. Sol sighed softly and crossed his arms across his chest as his eyes stayed locked on Jason.

“Are you afraid of what I’m capable of?” He gripped his forearms and waited for some kind of response, he just wanted to know what was going on. Solanine just let out another sigh and shook his head.

‘Can’t blame you, to be honest.’ Joseph said in a soft voice as he twirled the rosary with his fingers. ‘I guess I just got this old habit from back in the day when I was told it was the only way to save my soul.’

He put the rosary around his neck as a necklace and covered it with his shirt. ‘It’s just- comforting in a way? Even if there’s no soul in me to save.’

Hunger Pains {} closed rp

Solanine had been pacing around his room, the want to feed was making him go crazy on the inside—it had been about a week since he last fed and now the hunger pains were eating him.

“Fuck, fuck..!” The baby vampire wanted the crimson water, but didn’t want to lose control and kill the victim. His fangs popped out at the thought. “Damn you..” Sol retracted them and put on his leather jacket, making his was towards downtown—maybe a friend or even a stranger would help him in his time of need. Regardless he needed it. Something. Or even just a distraction to keep his mind off of it.

“Wait..” He pulled out his phone and went to call Jason. “Please pick up..”

Adain jumped slightly in surprise as the cat rubbed up against her leg but she let out a soft giggle before bending down to pet her. "Oh no, I don't mind being friends. I am allergic though so it might not fare well for me but it's fine." She noted with a dismissive wave before standing up to look at Jason again.

She listened as he spoke and resumed chewing onto her bottom lip, craning her head a bit curiously when he reached for the book. Pursing her lips in thought for a moment Adain looked from the book and back up to him. "I'm sorry that you suffer from night terrors too. They're a plague.. honestly. I um... I'm not sure which would be more effective. Nightmares aren't my only problem. I was thinking something to wear with some sort of general protection element to it too if that's even possible? I don't know. There's a lot I have to learn and understand but something tells me I'm in the right place for that. Thank you, by the way. I appreciate it."
