i'd like to join but i've never done a mewe rp before. do you have any suggestions for someone wanting to use the platform?
of course! mewe can be a bit of a different style than other rp platforms, but we're always here to make it a little bit easier. to begin, mewe has a basic "wall" or "feed" function just like you would see on facebook, twitter, etc. our members typically use this to post sns updates, photos, etc. in order to gain interactions with other members in an in-character setting. r mewe also has a group function, where we, the admin team, have created various locations throughout campus and the town where our members are encouraged to post public threads. these are typically "closed" threads between two parties, but are visible to everyone in the rp if they were to scroll through. there is also a "private message" feature on mewe, similar to posting on someone's "wall", but that is only viewable between the two parties themselves (the poster & receiver). members typically use this to thread private interactions or nsfw threads if they so desire. lastly, there is a dm option on mewe. our members largely use this to plot ooc, but you can also use this as in-character messaging between yourself and other muses. it becomes more straightforward after playing around with the features, and our members generally find it pretty easy to use! of course, this is a basic summary, but and we are always around to help navigate the platform. we hope that you'll join us and see it for yourself.
