The mew gave a few spins before stopping to stare at the witch

"A magic user hmmm? You know i am quite fond of magic tricks myself... Say can you pull a raboot from a hat?"

*Blaise stiffened up a bit at the presence of the mew. While he’d prefer to avoid saying no to a legendary, this situation unfortunately called for it.*

Blaise: I’m sorry to disappoint a mew, but that kind of “magic” and my magic is a bit different.

My magic derives from the ancient element, where the abiotic supernatural abilities of a being originates from.

The type of magic you’re thinking of is more of… sleight of hand and illusions. That’d be more down a Pathfinder’s route.

*Blaise turned to Yuko and bowed to her as well to show that he wasn’t ignoring her.*

Blaise: As a witch, I can tap into what reminds of the magic element. Right now I can only use some fairy and psychic type moves, but as my link strengthens I’ll be able to use more powerful magic elemental moves!

Say, I know a few moves that I can show you all if you’d like!

Lucario, Stop. I know you can’t rely on Aura Sight, but that doesn’t mean you should interrogate people. You have no idea what they could have gone through! So let. Cyzon. go.

If not, you will come to regret it, that I can almost Guarantee…

(Lucario doesn’t listen to your attempts to reason with her (or encourage her, for that matter), focusing all her attention on the canine newcomer. Her gaze hardens, becoming even more intense as she stares Cyzon down.)

(In that moment, Lucario manages to catch a glimpse of Cyzon’s true thoughts and feelings for the first time - despite her strange, unnatural aura. And the first thing she senses from her?)

(…Fear. Pure, unbridled fear.)

(Lucario lets go of her and takes a step back, finally getting a moment of clarity. She notices how TERRIFIED Cyzon is - and realizes SHE’S the cause.)

(…Arceus above, what is she DOING? This girl - she’s just confused and scared, and here Lucario is, practically THREATENING her…)

(…Damn it. She messed up, didn’t she…?)

Lucario: “…Listen. I… I don’t know anything about you. And you seem like you’re not all that willing to talk about it. And… I guess I can understand that. But…”

(Lucario then walks away from Cyzon, not even daring to look her in the eyes.)

The pink mew with white spots looked shocked

"I am sorry! I assure you I did not mean to treathen you! I dont even know where we are... i apologize if invaded your territory"

Finally, one with attitude, without unecessary ramble about whatever's not needed. Her rigid body slowly began to relax. She stood straight, still firmly, and glanced back at the mew.

"Quit the hush. I'm not one to mark any place as my territory. This is an open forest. A wild one. You're fine, just stay alert at all times."

"What do you call a fish that never tells you what they are planning. A fishy individual!"

*Keldeo’s previously saddened expression turned into one of joy as they began to laugh heartily. It seemed as if the bad joke has distracted them from their sadness. At least for now.*

Keldeo: Ha! That is a good one, strange mew!

I do not know what the black and white gods have planned, but I do have faith in their decisions. I guess that they aren’t what I’d call “fishy”.

Thank you for the laugh my mythical friend! That certainly raised my spirits!

Miu beckons to the two. "Come, come! This way to the training grounds!"

The Fezendipiti takes the hilt and ward to a dirt clearing, marked off from the forest by a fence. Miu walks to one end of the arena and shifts into position, taking out his fans.

"Alright, then," he told the pair. "I'll let you two go first, since I'm a proper gentleman- Oh! And, before we begin, would you like me to go easy on you? There's no shame if that's the case- I can be a little.....ruthless if I'm using my full power."
