I don’t quite get why Angel is referred to as a cryptic? Is it a reference to a fic on this blog?

Oh hahaha no, it’s not a reference to a fic. We call Angel/Clayton a Mexican cryptid because we don’t really come in that variety of 6’3 fucking stacked beasts. So he’s kinda like our Sasquatch.

Cryptidinktober day 12- La Llorana La Llorana or "the weeping woman" is a spirit from Mexican folklore. The most well known variation of the story is about a woman named Maria. She finds her husband cheating on her, so out of anger she drowns her children in the lake. After realizing what she has done, she drowns herself. She goes to the gates of heaven, but cannot enter without her children. So, she wanders and cries out for her children. And some legends say she even kidnaps and drowns children that resemble hers.
