Every morning since we arrived in Zacatecas (except for Sunday) we have done devo as a team. Each time it’s someone different. This morning was suppose to be my turn but things happen and our plans changed. So I thought I’d share my devo with all of you instead. So the morning of Easter Sunday (day 3). Like the day before, we reached the part in the service where we were told to find someone that raised there hand for prayer and start praying for them. I turned around, saw this woman with her hand in the air. Didn’t think twice of looking for an interpreter, I decided I was just going to go for it. So I walked up to her and laid my hand on her shoulder. When her eyes remained closed I felt relieved because then there was no pressure to search for a translator. The Holy Spirit has me praying for her and her family and that if she had someone that wasn’t walking with God that she’d be a good witness with to them and help lead them back to Christ. When I opened my eyes I saw that Deanna had joined us. She asked me if I wanted her to translate for me and if I had anything to share. I hesitated—instead of asking her to translate what I had prayed, I asked her to just ask the woman if she had a specific prayer request. The woman began to tell me two of her sons had stepped away from Christ and she wanted me to pray for them and that they find their way back. The Holy Spirit convicted me and I felt Him saying, “Did you seriously just doubt me? Walk in confidences.” So I confessed. Then I prayed for the woman again, this time with Deanna translating for me. Later Deanna told me God used me as confirmation for that woman because she prayed for the same exact things for that same woman years ago. The whole point of sharing this is that as believers we need to walk in boldness and confidence. Don’t doubt His Holy Spirit and don’t walk in fear. The book of Acts talks about people praying together and getting filled up with the Holy Spirit and then going out and walking in boldness, preaching His Word. #gospel #zacatecas #missions #zacatecasmexico #mexicomissionstrip #boldness #faith #confidence #fear #doubt (at Jerez, Zacatecas) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bws_mIIBFkP/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=i3g1znw8c94j
