Bustamante is a very common surname for sure 😭 I can name like three Bustamantes from Mexico from the same time period
I usually only change my blog title every month but since it's July and a revolt happened against Anastasio Bustmanate's administration during this month I'm kind of like, changing my blog title every now and then to match events as they happened

LMAO my internship did a social gathering and one of the activities was this coloring/drawing station
there was a "642 little things to draw" book and i was flipping through it filling it out and i stumbled upon the prompt "a sideburn" and i kid you not i have never pulled out crayons faster than I did today

I actually got these done several days ago but never had the time to properly post them lmao???? of all things??? anyways say hi to my headcanons again (although the Matamoros one is more based off an actual exhumation done of his remains where they discovered the bones of someone with Turner syndrome! However, given that it's been over 200 years and the fact that there were animal bones in his grave, we have no way of knowing if those are actually his bones, but I'm adopting the belief that he was an intersex trans man anyway)
