Update!
Hello all! I’ve completed the first week of school and I’m still sane! You’ll be happy to know I’m getting back to writing!
As you know, I really like to add illustrations to my fics. I think they’re important to help the reader visual key moments in the story, and it just makes me happy as the author to see my words come to life.
So far, I have commissioned the amazing @mexi-doodler (mexidoodler on IG) to create all of the beautiful art I’ve featured in my fics so far. Sadly, due to COVID-19, commissions have become her sole source of income and she was forced to raise her prices. (Btw, she’s worth EVERY penny!)
Unfortunately, I’m living on a teacher’s salary and spare money can be hard to come by. I REALLY want to continue to support her and in return have the same style of beautiful illustrations for the rest of Dopamine and eventually for my third fic A Happy Accident.
Because of this I’ve made a Ko-fi in hopes of getting donations that would cover the majority of two more illustrations of Dopamine. Please keep in mind that as a fan fiction writer, I do all of this work for free and these illustrations really bring me joy as well as create more attention and foot traffic for my writing. I would be so grateful if you could help.
