California's late summer calls for a Greek style evening of ouzo and mezethes.  Does not need to be elaborate, little bits of cheese, olives, peppers, bread, a dip.  A bottle of ouzo, some ice and water.  Don't use plates, just bread and forks.  It's not a race, it's slow, it's easy and it's fun. 

Next time friends drop by, see if you can improvise.
