Rue / LOZ + AOL / he/fae / 19 years old

It's hard to get a read on this young man. He keeps to himself and never voices his own opinions, never gives you a foothold. In spite of his lack of presence, he carries a different presence; a near inhuman aura of magic seems to cling to his skin. He's crafty and unpredictable.

Rue is midverbal, and mainly signs rather than speaks. In faer youth, he didn't really talk much and that definitely carries over into adulthood.

Rue is extremely resourceful and a natural survivalist. He's a very good liar and very good at detecting scams; gotta get good at rooting out suspicious people when your monsters can disguise themselves as Hylians.

Rue wears a cowl and a sash as a quick disguise to use when he goes in villages. Fae would throw the hood over faer head and draw the cowl over their mouth. Messages simply don't travel in his Hyrule, so not many knew what the hero looked like.

Hello Mother Fucker AU (/silly) I come with questions

What does Rue think is the absolute worst quality a person could have? What does he hate about other people?

What's the deal with Zonau's Zelda? Is she still around? Does Zonau think ill of her? Flutters my eyelashes

Oh man these are some really good questions!

Rue was sorta raised in a flawed world. When he came to Hyrule, the people were desperate. They were people who were trying to survive, and did anything they could to survive--but never live. Rue is very understanding of flaw, he understands that one must do what they have to to survive. But the one thing that he simply cannot stand is the thought of siding with evil. People who turn to evil, to hurting innocent people, to get their ends. Fae truly believes that there's other methods to getting what you want, that doesn't include hurting others. He keeps to himself, but internally cannot stand it.

As for Zonau, that one's...complicated.

He does have a Zelda, and she is still around. But they're both very distant. They haven't talked in 20 years--hell, Zelda wouldn't even be surprised if he turned out to be dead. She wants to reconnect, she wants to help him, because she believes that the task he wishes to take upon himself is too much for one single man to handle, but he doesn't...want that connection. Or rather, he does, but he doesn't think he deserves it.

He doesn't think ill of her; he admires her, he thinks she's a noble woman and a kind person. She has a daughter now, and he wishes he could meet her too. But...he doesn't really think he should reconnect.
