anyway i headcanon that MFE-Ares ends up with some pretty significant hearing loss after the war which is a combination of projection and actual goddamn fact and i just want y’all to imagine like,, ten years down the line the crew meets up for a night out & someone’s offhandedly like “man, my ears just never stop ringing” which turns into an impromptu bonding session bc Nadia (an ADHD babe who 100% had weird tinnitus-y stuff even before the war) is like “wait i’m not the only one who literally no longer hears silence?” and yes,,, i love they.......
