I find it interesting how old fanfics that were written like, 9 years ago, would make disclaimers about homosexuality and if the reader doesn’t like it they can fuck off. For example, Final Fantasy fiction that would have Cloud/Zack paired off, and the author would be like “if you don’t like male/male then don’t read”

 Whereas now, 2016, writers don’t do that anymore because there is nothing to warn because society has become more accepting. And any reader that would complain would get backlash so fast. It makes me so happy.

Rewatching an old episode and two things.

The lighting here is pretty awesome. We see so much here and they capture the depth of field so well.We still see Cora in the frame with enough light to see her expression while getting to see Dereks as well. Their frowns being very similar help the intensity of the scene. And even though here doesn’t show much of Isaac we do see him in his close-ups.

AND I’m pretty sure all three of them are hiding out somewhere in South Africa because Cora didn’t want to leave Mexico, Isaac didn’t want to leave Europe, and Derek wanted to do a Safari trip so they agreed on South Africa.
