I think I tried to come up with the rescue stuff but didn't think of anything worth showing so, cutting right to the end!

Apparently Milo's style change was a bit startling to people who were not me since this was done over months and I was drawing him in the background the whole time while Riley was having a flashback. The hazards of not thinking about other people not seeing all your background studying I guess!
