What’s their ideal vacation like?

Nakoa: Anywhere different from the last! He'd love to visit all sorts of different places and see the sights so any sort of traveling vacation would be best. But he'd skip beaches.

Vera: Hmm The beach!! Somewhere warm and sunny to relax with Milla and Sophie, kinda a girl's vaca!

What’s their favorite thing about their significant other, if they have one?

Nakoa: Nakoa isn't big on commitment, he likes to go on adventures and try new things and he's also poly and pan. I'm still playing around with who his significant others will be. But the main one: He loves that they are independent and fun loving. They enjoy being together but aren't interested in a traditional relationship either.

Vera: Vera REALLY wants commitment and to feel loved and have someone there for her. With Ty her favorite thing about him is when he pays attention to her and makes her feel important, unfortunately it's not often. With her future husband, it's how caring he is and the how he constantly does little things to make her happy. He's also supportive of her dreams and treats her as his equal.

What motivates them?

Nakoa: Chaotic good, Nakoa's here for a good time and a long time! He wants to be happy and healthy and he's very loyal to his friends. So his motivation is mostly about fun, but he considers other's feelings too.

Vera: Her own insecurities, she's usually trying to feel important and needed. As the story progresses she'll start to accept that not everyone will love her and that's okay.

I'd saved the hardest goodbye for last. Akahi had been my partner for 3 years. If I couldn't commit to marry them, then clearly marriage was not for me.

Also, I wanted to leave and they loved this island. They would never leave and I would never ask them to.

A: Be safe on the mainland.

N: Of course.

This felt a little insane. It was finally happening. So long to this island. So long to all the people I'd known my whole life. Only new things from here on.

Alrighty! Here's an official update! Before it's too late for me to make this change:

Esra has been renamed to Nakoa - for a couple reasons but most importantly: his backstory. He's from Hawaii and his name didn't really fit that. I grabbed it from EA's randomizer when he was still someone else's sim that I was using and had no backstory.

Also, he seems right at home with cottage living:
