Man I start school in 11 days and I got up at five in the afternoon today; some major lifestyle changes need to happen soon.

I can hold a note more steadily with my foot than with my hand and I'm not sure how to feel about that.

So when I was first trying to learn the violin, I had problems holding the instrument correctly for long periods of time, so my instructor told me to just hold it while I was doing other things, like watching tv or whatever.

Now that I have this theremin, and I realize how incredibly freaking hard it is to hold a note steadily, I'm just going to hold a C note while I browsing the internet let's do this shit.

Sweetwater seriously sends you a bag of candy when you order something from them, apparently. My instrument came in today and as I was moving the packing stuff around I saw them and started laughing my ass off.

I pretty much like every selfie that comes up on my dash, so tumblr keeps recommending me blogs based on that trend and showing me any post that's tagged/me. Like yall are beautiful but I don't even know you.

Sometimes the notion of being alone is terrifying.

Sometimes it is comforting.

Tonight is definitely the latter. All I needed was a little perspective I think.

My blog doesn't really have a theme or any modicum of consistency, but the one standard I impose on it that it has as little drama as possible. Tumblr can be a sea of pointless bitching and general nastiness and I want mine to sort of break from all that while still posting what I like.

Of course there's nothing wrong with complaining or drama in and of itself, and often it serves an important function to people, but it can be overwhelming and I don't want to contribute to that.
