Spirit Akko

Short fic + My art.

Akko x Lotte (Akkolotte)

Trigger warnings: Abandonment fears, hiding the truth.

What if, Akko discovered she could shapeshift into a spirit.

And Lotte found her without knowing it's Akko and went. "hey there."

"Your new, I have never seen you before."

And before Akko could explain Lotte starts giving her head scritches and singing to her.

🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Which sounds even more amazing after shapeshifting into a spirit.

Cause it's a song specifically made for them.

And Akko is so distracted, she forgot to shapeshift back and tell her it's her.

And she is blushing so hard, from getting to be so close to her and bond with her like this.

And she doesn't want to lose that.

So she keeps that ability of her shapeshifting a secret.. for now.

And no one knows, cause no 1 tried to shapeshift into a spirit before.

So she shapeshifts more times and just waits, hoping to have more soft, quite, happy, bonding times with her and keeps thinking...

"I will tell her later, she would find this hilarious."

"It's fine. right?" Akko thought.

And One of the times Lotte starts talking about Akko and how she started acting a bit strange, more nervous.

And that she hopes she is okay and wishes she will reach out to her for help if she needs it..

And that she wants to tell her "that she would be there for her, but she is too nervous.." 😓

And how she worries that reaching out will make their ralationship worse and that she doesn't even know how to help..

But then she says. "But you don't need to worry about that, your just a little spirit." Head pet.

"It's late I should go to sleep, I hope Akko won't be up for too long." She looked at the door worringly.

Then Akko shapeshift back, sitting akwardly on the table and yelled. "Lotte wait!"

And Lotte is like, suprised. 😳

"I'm sorry I have being avoiding you and that I haven't told you I can turn into a spirit...

I was just having so much fun, being with you and having these happy moments togather and hearing your singing for me.

That I got carried away." She looks to the ground. •3• 👉👈

"I just worried we could never hang out like this again. 😔

Just the 2 of us...

But your an amazing friend." She tackle hugs her. "And you have always being there for me.

And made me happy.

And I don't want you to think that your not, just because I get nervous around you.

She let's go of her and says.

"Because, because, Lotte I love You."

Lotte squeeled.

She didn't expect that.

She didn't even know Akko was even here that long ago.

Lotte opens her eyes and looks at Akko, while Akko is being shy and waiting for an answer. 👉👈

While Akko is glancing up at her then looks away.

"The truth is I like you too." Lotte looks away.

"I just didn't want to ruin what we had and I started thinking I did, cause you kept being nervous and avoiding me and, and-" she started crying softly. 🥺

Lotte continued stuttering "And, and, that you didn't want to be friends anymore." Then the waterfalls all started falling and didnt stop. 😭

"Wait Lotte, no, no, she hugged her, you could never ruin our friendship." Akko started petting her hair.

"I was just acting nervous, cause I had a crush on you." Akko reassured

Lotte sobs calm down, but some tears still fall, accompanied by small hiccups.

"I was acting stupid, I should of just told you from the start about the spirit, about wanting to spend alone time with you and about that I love you.

You don't need to cry." She gently wipes off a tear from the ginger haired girl.

"Cause I'm here and I'm not going anywhere and all time you want me, I will always be there.

Dont worry Lotte, you don't need to cry.

No more secrets, okay?" Akko promised gently.

"Okay." while she is still wiping her tears on her sleeves, now calmer she softly says:

"Will you read nightfall?"

"I have already started, but I am stuck on the first 5 pages.." 🤔

"I will read it to you, every night.

I mean if you still want that, after seeing me like that."

She awkwardly smiles.

"Wait, does that mean you want to be my girlfriend??"

Lotte nods, smiling.

"Yay!!!" She picks Lotte up and starts spinning her around and laughing.

While Lotte is yelling. "Akko were going to fall down!"

They fall.

Akko still laughing and smiling and Lotte smiling, with a small chuckle.

Sucy wakes up, seeing them on top of each other and says. "You finally got togather.

Now let me go back to sleep." She grumbles and covers her head with a blanket.

And both Akko and Lotte burst out laughing and smiling and gently holding each others hand.

And this time, unlike any other night they slept togather cuddled in the same bed.

Bonus: After tomorrow arrived, Lotte insisted Akko will teach her the spell that turns you into a spirit. She wanted to also be a spirit and one with them, so badly! She just never thought it was possible.

And later they go on tiny spirit adventures togather. ✨️

And dates 😳

With Sucy sometimes thirdwheeling.

Jasminka finally reveals she has a demonic spirit inside of her that she keeps at bay with snacks

Warnings: Ukraine famine mentioned (I have made the fic before the war) maybe medical neglect tw over eating tw

Wait so that time I lost the race cause of that donut was because of that

Im sorry I remembered that for you for too long...

Yes I always eat extra just in case

I promise I didnt mean to lose it back then

Im sure there is a cure Diana says in a serious tone while sounding a bit more worried than usual but still keeping her composure

No she raised a hand to stop her

I already made peace with them

We actually become kind of friends

I give them snacks to not destroy the world and they keep me company

She smiled her usual sweet smile

Like she was when she was offering some chocolate chip cookies

Just this matter was quite more serious

They are actually really misunderstood spirits

Sits down to start to tell the story

Many years ago back in Ukraine there was a human made Great Famine

And these spirits are all thats left

Lotte covered her mouth Diana looked shocked and all could Akko do is gasp

But Jasminka continued before seeing anymore reactions

She kept it to herself for too long

And she didnt know if she could continue if she would look everyone in the eye

They were so angry that they wanted to destroy all that pain and the only way they thought they could is to just destroy everything

For many years that was their plan

But they couldnt cause they were too weak

not without a body

Not without a host

And one day they found me

I was a lonely child I was using my summer days in Ukraine to lay outside on the grass and eating chips

And then they found me

At the start I didnt know what got into me I felt great pain and hunger

That 3 meals a day couldnt cover anymore I became angry and explosive

And had powers too big for my age

I got food from every place I could get my hand on and stole if I didnt

At the start my parents thought it was just emotions from starting to become a teenager

But when I blew up the kitchen at 11 which was too much power for an 11 year old and "my favorite place" as they liked to call it

they realized maybe there was something more to it they realized maybe there was something wrong

So they took me to see many witch doctors in many professions

That all didnt know what to do

Till I reached a spirit magic witch

Like Lotte

All eyes were turned to Lotte

Like me?

Yes How they found out what was wrong was they took me to a spirit magic user

And they talked to my spirits and told my parents what was wrong

I was very young so I dont remember very much

Just the whole if you wont eat enough the world might end

But all I remember after that trip I was allowed to eat a lot more snacks

And I finally felt like myself again

She posed cause she heard a small voice starting to speak

By the way I know Im not as good as those witches in spirit magic

But just know that if you ever need help with trying to communicate with them Im here said Lotte

And if you need help stealing some food Im here too Akko blurted

Sucy looked judging Akko's interruption and was about to make a snarky comment

But before she could say anything Jasminka said

Thanks I appreciate all the support I could get smiling her usual smile but a bit less worry free this time

Wait back to the all the world is ending bit Amanda said

Might she pointed

Thats what she worried that all they would see her is as a threat

Everyone else she had let close in the past has left

She needs to keep it together they are her friends after all

How do you handle the stress of complete doom over everything above your head?

When you are afraid of something for so long you start to barely notice it

And so do you want to have my number as an emergency contact for if you need food

Amanda is right you should have a safety plan

And I know you dont want to banish your spirits

And I respect that but I believe you need a plan b for if you somehow fail Diana said

She didnt like to think about that she usually thought about it only before she went to sleep a space where she knew she was helpless to do anything if everything turned wrong

And wonder if the next time she would wake in the morning everything would be gone

Diana continued Thats why we need to find something to protect you

Protect you she liked that

Usually others made it always sound like it was to prevent the whole world doom

They made it sound like only she is the problem that needs to be stopped

And wouldnt at all be in forever misery and pain or even gone too if it were to happen

Now she just realized that never heard that as a child hurt

A pain she didnt know she had

Um thank you she said while taking another bite of her chips and hoped no one will notice

Its the least I could d-

Diana got cut off by Jasminka crying bout

But the doctors said was no way

Maybe there wasent back then but since then the amount of magic we have and advancements we have made could be enough Diana retorted

But they said the magic was too strong she felt desperate

Thats what she knew for so long it pained her for so long and there might be a way?

She knew not to let her hopes up

But she also knew since then cause it seemed fixed her parents just kinda left it

They didnt know the anxiety she had felt each night

And they didnt know how her stomach hurt a lot of the time cause she couldnt take any chances and overate

But Diana is right

There might be new solutions

Diana continued again The thing is we dont need to contain it we just need to redirect it

Till you get something to eat which at max could be a few hours

If its with teleportation magic or converting the energy

We are lucky to be in a school with the number 1 expert in magic conversions

And Im not sure if you are aware but she owes us

And I will accompany you Akko raised her hand clearly trying to be there for her even if her biggest experty is Shiny Chariot

You cant you are already failing your classes Diana replied immediately

Akko's face had fallen and looked like a sad puppy

Diana coughed you cant all the time

We will take turns in accompanying you

I will come most of the time for the technicalities and Lotte will come too

Yes since you have more knowledge of the technicalities of spirits and how they work

And other will come for emotional support since Im not always the best at it I admit

Not just for their own safety but for her

Now I will later make you a list of all the things we need to do to figure out a permanent solution

You dont need to carry that weight on your shoulders alone anymore

She already stopped feeling that way

But still she was starving for any reassurance she could get

Talking about starving she noticed she reached the crums of the bag and opened some toffee

And she thought maybe she could be eating more for herself

And not just out of fear

Maybe this will be one of the last times she will have to

I imagine a funny scenario where the RBG team turns themselves into mouses then go around and terrorize Luna Nova (maybe Constanze makes a 3 foot that they all can enter in and terrorize the town)

Then at the end Ursula sees the 9 new Witches sleeping in a pile still in their mouse forms

I imagian all of them racing on their own little stanbots that cons has

Causing chaos

Jasminka and Akko eating food their own size that they stole

Sucy living in a mushroom

Diana Napping in a school book

Lotte finally being able to hug her spirit friends

Amanda jumping all around doin parkour

Also them entering a miniature town full of spirits

And in the end of the day we have an adorable mice witches pile! Like you said

I had a dream about Akkolotte

Where Lotte is trying to make akko recreate scenes from nightfall with her as a form of flirting

Akko gives a head pat to comfort lotte that lost her food

But lotte looks at her excpecting her to cook her something new just like in nightfall

And Akko not knowing if she wants to date Diana or Lotte and go along with her nightfall recration

In the end Akko is deciding to sabotage the food and cook the worse sushi ever with bugs and all and a regular huge round cabbage

Let's say when they cut the food and the bugs came out Lotte and her parants who were there were horrified

So Love loses and I ship Akkolotte

so dream why 😭

1 day Akko wanted to learn more of Sucy love for mushroom and potions

So this time she volunteered for a day to be Sucy Guinea pig

This time a willing 1 at the start this made sucy cackle

But later she started to appreciate her company and not just as a guinea pig but as a real lab parthner who is willing to listen and learn from her expertise almost nobody ever done that before

And she saw Akko even had a few good points

At the end of the day Sucy didn't have the heart to give Akko the random potion she made and wanted to test out

She gave her an experimental sugar mushroom candy she been working on to have for afternoon snacks
