Day 15 - Legend
Something she actually says in the movie + some Dr. Facilier vibes
I’m still trying to get over Homeworld Bound and my coping mechanisms will include cherishing her even more than usual so here’s one more of these redraw things. The original is from Le Courrier Français, 1906
Day 16 - Wild
Corrupted!Spinel
I’m genuinely sorry about the endless suffering I’ve been putting her through during the last weeks
Digital vent sketches I wasn’t supposed to share online for quite obvious reasons but
I just love how these came out. I love them so much
I love her so much
Licensed court fool Spinel. Tomorrow’s my birthday and I’m in the mood for something festive <3
Very quick sketches of a jester outfit
My dearest Spinel
Spinel as Mesarthim the space minstrel, main character from the play I wrote about in that short “fanfiction” I began to post a couple months ago. Oh right it was in my native language and I’m too fuxking lazy to translate it because I don’t actually care about other people reading it or not (edit. I actually deleted it because it didn’t make any sense for it to be here rip)
However, this character is the protagonist and narrator of her play. It’s a genderless creature who roams from planet to planet, collecting stories from different alien cultures and basing their performances on them. In the fic, they stand as Spinel’s alter ego as she works through her trauma and learns to talk about it in a way that it subtle and therapeutic, turning her abandonment issues, recurring nightmares and phobia of the night sky (Mesarthim uses constellations to tell their stories and write new ones) into a source of inspiration.
