Ianu is a reckless but good-natured Hylian/Twili hybrid who can travel to different worlds through a magically-created Twilit Loftwing. In Magic Girls Dead, she finds herself fighting a Lynel in a forest near Primp Town, with Sig watching in the near distance. During this fight, she meets her end and is eventually revived via Ecolo’s time shenanigans with a new heart. After her revival, she makes a promise to defeat that Golden Lynel and get her revenge! She wears a sleeve on her right arm due to a Malice curse she obtained years back. She doesn’t like it being known to people, as she’s afraid it’ll scare people off, so she hides it. This curse has made her unable to use magic over a certain threshold-- or else she’ll become a beast similar to the ones seen during Zant’s takeover in the Era of Twilight.
She can channel her magic through her hair and use it for a plethora of things, like a shield or an extra set of hands. She can’t do this if her hair is cut, though, so she keeps it super long.
