How do you get such clean cutouts for your comic edits?

if you’re using photoshop let me redirect you to some very well done and easy tutorials by @mattelektras here and here

The way i do it is different since I'm using medibang, under the cut a brief tutorial on how i do my edits, that i hope you can find this useful and if there’s something you don’t understand just ask and i will try to explain it better 

so after cropping the panel i want to edit i create another layer above it and fill it the color as much as i can without going over the art 

then i reduce the opacity of the second layer and with the paint tool i color what’s left of the background by following the lines of the art 

when i finish editing out the background on medibang i go on photoscape x (an app to edit photos for macs idk if it exist for windows) where i reduce the noise, use the sharpening tool to make it sharper and i also mess around a bit with the coloring. This is how it looks finished after i do those tricks

What's your favorite issue of Secret Six? Mine would likely be #8 from the first ongoing series the double date one

i love the double date issue, but my #1 favorite is “control”, the one ostrander wrote about deadshot. any issue where they beat up that group of white supremacists is a close second - mason

same about beating up white supremacists; i don’t have a favorite issue but i do have favorite moments, like scandal and bane’s friendship. and scandal in general. i also love blake’s flashback sequences in the first issues of v3. and blake in general - lalla

As of issue Ghosted in LA #3 Daphne admits to benign sexually fluid, and both Ronnie and Bernard the Ghost are gay.

Not really a Q just a FYI. In White Trees by Chip Zdarksy Kris Anka and Matt Wilson. Sir Dahvlan and Scotiar are husbands. Dahvlan is bi/pan from what happens in the book Scotiar appears to be gay. Sir Krylos during that sequence is coded as ace but it uses some lame ace sterotypes to read it that way, and seems more like a byproduct of his depression. Dahvlan an Scotiar are adorbs though.

The first issue (out of 2) just came out this week and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for letting us know!
