Whilst I do love the content DC comics produces, I also believe that going 1202 days without a single black led ongoing in the main continuity is disgraceful and WILL be partaking in the boycott HOWEVER, during this boycott, do not forget to continue supporting both artists and your local comic book store!! Check out artists' other non DC projects, and whilst you're at it, maybe pick up some indie works from your local comic book store. Remember, your favourite heroes wouldn't stand for the erasure of black stories, so you shouldn't either as we stand here for truth justice and a better tomorrow.
Ten new Comics you should check out because i have the best taste in comics. Nobody else has the taste i have in comics. The other day a little old lady said to me, she said, "Ramma you have the best taste in comics. Better than everybody else" and i said "I know".
All of these are first issues and very recent except for Neighbourhood Watch and Corpse Night which are on to the 2nd issue.
Dog Tag: Mark Russell is one of my fave comic book writers of all time tbh. Man has never done me wrong. He wrote The Flintstones in 2016 which is one of the best comics of all time. ALL TIME!
Hidden Springs: A group of ageing celebs find a baby kaiju and choose to protect it.
Odin: A reporter goes undercover with some nazis and they go into the woods to summon a good. Everything goes fine and they all live happily ever after. NOT! Everything goes tits up and shit is fucked. It's like if Green Room and Midsommar had a baby.
Of the Earth: 7 words. Blood Simple meets John Carpenter's The Thing. What do you mean you've never seen Blood Simple? FOOL!
Neighbourhood Watch: Mystery, intrigue, suspense, chaos, anarchy, cats and dogs living together, MASS HYSTERIA! Only 3 of these things are in the comic. Although there could be cats and dogs living together.
Corpse Knight: He's a corpse who is a Knight.
Seven Wives: Forty-nine witnesses, seven wives, one dead husband.
Only the Savage Are Left: A virus turns people in to monsters.
Absolute Green Arrow: Someone is killing corrupt billionaires with GREEN ARROWS!
Barbara Gordon: Breakout: Babs is in prison. How long until she becomes the daddy?
