Had a dream in which Wei Wuxian meets Hua Cheng, and also it is a space opera in which space empires fight over the many inhabited planets. Silver butterflies can fly between planets.
Wei Wuxian was pulverized into atoms but somehow got himself together on some backwater planet. He wanders into a festival in the city and just had to climb the stage and perform, despite that he is wanted and there are people in the crowd who know him.
Jiang Cheng, Wei Wuxian, and Nie Huaisang (with vaguely the energy from their Gusu era) together summoned an advanced alien intelligence that warps reality and drives people mad: they thought it would be fine and they would just talk, but they could not banish it in time (because of procrastination, mind you) and now they are not having a good day.
