Random ass mh rant

i kinda hate how a solid half of the monster high is so prejudiced against gen3. i understand how people prefer gen1 because it's what they grew up with, everyone is allowed to be the nostalgic. the thing is, gen3 isn't for you. gen3 is for the kids of today, the kids who are 5+ right now. "but they changed the characters" and why wouldn't they, its almost like change is an ongoing thing. the most important thing is, the gen3 characters are, and were never meant to be the gen1 characters, these are different people. and the fact that people are so upset by the changes need to take a look a literally any other toy brand that's been around for 10+ years. the exact same thing has been done by strawberry shortcake, mlp, barbie ext. and for the people saying "frankie being non-binary was so forced". how was it supposed to happen, because im pretty sure all queer/trans people are sick of watching painful coming out arch's. frankie's attitude is towards being enby is simply "i am non-binary, and in return everyone i like "cool" then move on with their lives. theres no drama and its a healthy way to show kids a non-binary person, they also dresses feminine is which we don't get to see in other charcters. you are allowed to dislike the new monster high, but don't feel the need to tear down people who do. personally, im excited for where gen3 goes and how mh will develop in the future. sure there are somethings that don't and won't like, but there are also things i love.
