I love this show so much.
Look at that laugh. How pure.
And she is a graceful loser too. Now i know why she isn’t the protagonist. It would be no fun following someone with literally no flaws. ^ ^
Indeed new friend, indeed. And apparently she is named Bravun because this show delights in torturing me.
I’m sorry, i think i have to cancel this liveblog because my heart grew three sizes right now, and apparently that is a serious medical condition.

That was episode 31. I really loved this episode, but the speechifying this time was the straw that broke the camels back, so i will have to detract a point. It a shame that we will probably never see my new favourite character the enemy team captain again, but at least i still have Wisdom. ^ ^
Overall i’d give this episode 4 people who really should have won but got snubbed out of 5.
I feel for you.
I know the K stands for Kakuto, but she’ll always be Captain 19K to me. 19000 > 7 ;_;
Don’t beat yourself up too much. You’ve done your best, unlike any other goalie in this show.
#KakutoDeservedBetter
:(
Figures.
....Wait what?
Oh, good, they managed to exacape. But i call hax. How in the hell are you going to lose to anyone now that you can redirect the force of your nuclear rainbomb that runs of the power of friendship?
The goalie actually blocked something?! Why aren’t these girls our main characters? They are clearly wizards!
Oh shit, their goalie evidently even took it upon herself to travel to a remote Temple in Tibet to master the ancient art of Levitation. Talk about dedication.
That’s pretty cool. I like it.
Don’t you mean fuel? Then again, this IS Nagisa......
What she said.
....Nagisa, what are you doing? They have been saying the exact same thing EVERY sports episode.
Better do it fast then, cause that only lasts for a hundred steps.
Not gonna lie, this was pretty badass.
Oh, another reused shot from the intro. I’d remember this shot anywhere because 1) It appears on my favourite part of the intro : motto BARIBARI, and 2) Nagisa looks amazingly fierce during it.
Usually i’d be against such blatant recycling from the intro, but since this is the greates Nagisa face of all time i’ll let it slide. ^^
She held it up, noticed it repels the Zakenna’s , and then ran away screming while still holding it up. I love Hikari.
Yeah, they should’ve done that from the beginning.
8/10. It’s a swarm so it’s bound to be somewhat difficult to deal with, and it reminds me a bit of Jojo’s Bad Company which is always a plus, but just making the possesed something the field itself is a bit lazy imo.
What she said.
Oh jesus christ. You see, as much as i love this show, and i do, this is by far my biggest gripe.
BLABLABLA DARKNESS
NO U
BLABLABLA POINTLESS
NANI?
BLABLABLA WHY YOU EVEN TRYING?
HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY FRIENDS / IDEALS / FAMILY / PEOPLE I LITERALLY JUST MET!

This is the gist of the pre-fight and mid-fight dialouge in 99 percent of the episodes of both seasons.
I really really really REALLY hope this gets better in the following series.
That’s the spirit!
Hey, what are you doing here? Shoo, go away! I am actually invested in the Lacross plot for the first time in this entire show, and i want to savour this moment!
I actually feel bad for these gals. They have trained their bodies and like half of them actually managed to get reasonably buff for girls their age probably at the expense of at least part of their social circle, they have taken the time to study their opponents and train accordingly, which probably cost them a good bit of freetime, which probably further strained their out-of-sports relationships, and now they are going to be defeated by the grand strategy of “Hey, the enemy thinks we’re smart, so let’s just be frickin stupid for once! That’ll show’em!“.
This means that all this training, the loss of romantic prospects, the lost time, and all their careful planning was for naught, and since they are going to be beaten by a team so obviously physically inferior to them this has to come with a severe blow to their reputation back home. What a shame.
What is also funny is that Honoka just gave a speech that basically amounted to saying that the enemy team will lose because they lack the team spirit and belief in one another. But any group who does all this stuff together, which probably took them half a year at least, will inevitably develop a strong connection. I sincerely doubt that these gals have any less team spirit than Team Nagisa.
Goddammit!
