If this is the power of the Dark King as a little kid then i do not know how he ever lost to Pretty Cure last time. Probably because he was weakened form being in chains forever.

Priorities.

I am going to miss this whole damn school.

Oh man, i really liked this episode. But one thing........Where was the vacation?! False advertising, worst episode ever, 0/5.

But seriously, i REALLY enjoyed it. This was a farewell episode. The calm before the storm. It was there to remind us how far the characters have come, and also that it is soon over. It’s hard to talk about this episode in detail since the most memorable thing about it are the emotions it makes you feel. There fore i  give this episode 5 prayers that Hikari will survive the finale out of 5. With one caveat. This episode will be the most boring episode ever if you are only a casual watcher. And i’d also say that this episode is much less effective if you only watched Max Heart. But for people who stuck with it from the beginning this should be a treat.

Now, since this was most definitely the final episode before shit hits the fan, here is how my schedule is going to look for the rest: I originally planned to do another episode today, but i’d like to repeat what i did for the first series. That means watch the finale as one big movie. And since there are four episodes left, it will actually be feature length. As such, movie rules will apply. I will not do anymore today. I will start with episode 44 tomorrow morning, and throughout the day i will go all the way to 47, with 6 shots per post instead of 5.

So yeah. This is coming a bit sooner than expected but....i hope you all enjoyed this liveblog....and i’ll see you tomorrow for the very last liveblog of Futari Wa Pretty Cure : Max Heart. I hope you areas pumped as i am. ^ ^

I can now understand Nagisa. This time I myself forgot that these attacks always happen at the least convenient moments.

Love Heartiel : I feel love blossoming in the school somewhere!

Cut to Nagisa and Honoka meeting.

I know out of all the subtext moments this one is the most likely to be accidental (and i’m 99% sure it was), but i still thought it was funny. ^ ^

I always expected they’d marry eventually, but i did not think it would be this young and at the school of all places.

This is really cool though. I’m glad for both of them. People in my school didn’t remember or like me enough to include me on the guest list of the farewell party. ^ ^

So since this episode is literally ALL about saying goodbye then the finale HAS to start next episode. It wouldn’t make any sense otherwise. But then again, this season had some really terrible episode placements, so idk.

I’d say that this is a little overkill for just two people but goddamn if they don’t deserve all of this.

Even the hivemind is back one final time. This episode is really pulling out all the stops.

I don’t think that is supposed to be that way. Unless Akane has some really wild ideas for some new recipes that i don’t know about.

All in all Hikari must be having the worst week of her life. And she isn’t even a year old yet.

The Dark Zone? Already?

Ah, and he is seeing the Garden of Light through the mansion window. The homes of their mortal enemies previous incarnations. I gotta say, this is pretty hype.

I really like this scene so far. Maki looking for advice from her predecessor. Who will probably tell her to just be herself,but whatever. It’s a nice ending to the whole Lacrosse thing that has been going on since the start of the show.

Am i the only one who think’s this shot is a bit creepy? It kinda looks like she is staring directly into your eyes through the screen.

You don’t have to be the same kinda captain Nagisa is. Her style works for her. Find your own.

We are already one quarter into the episode, and so far we had nothing but attempts to make the viewer remember the good ol times and that it’s gonna be all over soon. ;_;

Where is the vacation? Is the Zakenna gonna be a season 1 DVD boxset?

Oh yeah, the Nagisa girlcrush episodes, i remember those. She had like four of them this season alone.

Okay, the subtitles say that, but i swear i heard her say doki-doki. Isn’t that the japanese version of the heartbeat sound? I could be totally wrong of course. But if it is it doesn’t really match up to what is written in the subs. Just something i noticed. ^ ^

It’s pretty hard not to worry when it’s clear you are in the center of the shitstorm that is going to swallow everything in an episode or two.

“The Final Vacation Episode! A Special Liveblog, a Zakenna!?“

These things crack me up every time.

You did not admit your love, and it wasn’t all that courageous. You might as well have told your mirror that you loved Fujipi.

The players have finally realized that the goalies are useless leeches that are only holding them back. The revolution has begun.

This is really sweet. No longer part of the team, but she can still cheer. I wonder if we will get to know what Nagisa and Honoka plan to do in the future?

Man, Nagisa get’s all the ladies. And she has been getting most of the focus in Max Heart now that i think about it. I’ll talk about that a bit more after the final episode in my series wrap-up. If i manage to remember it.

The old guard and the new blood together. Man, more shows or long movie series should make it a point to hammer down on making you feel nostalgic at the end. It’s a really strange, but not unwelcome feeling.

Episode 43, here we go!

I am still amazed that they leave the kids alone with this stuff. I was in the natural sciences club in one of my schools, and they never EVER let us work with the equipment or chemicals without teacher supervision.

This show really wants to drive it home that it’s we are nearing the end of the road, huh?  Usually i only feel nostalgic about shows i have watched after they ended, but here we are constantly reminded of the upcoming end by the show itself. ^ ^

No Viblis, the giant wave of darkness meant that we are actually further away from the awakening than ever. Keep up.

But that’s a double edged sword, isn’t it? If the Queen is back at full power at the same time the King is then it‘s anyone’s guess who wins. In fact, you’d be at a disadvantage, since the Queen’s soldiers have beaten the King’s every single time thus far.
