“That is to say you are all either a hero, or a villain.” He says aloud. He looks up, taking in his surroundings. He’s on a beach, and he feels weirdly comfortable with that. There’s something familiar about the hot sand and the sound of the waves crashing against it. It feels comfortable. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t feel all that agitated. He reads on a bit further, “My suggestion is to find the other people on this island and introduce yourselves. These will be your friends and enemies, those that will help you escape, or maybe sabotage you.” He sighs, “Well. Least I’m alive, I guess.”
Since waking up, he’s had a lot of things to take in. Where he is was one. Not knowing who he is, that was another. Discovering that one of his legs is fake, that was another one. He’d figured that out when he tried to stand and he wasn’t expecting the sensation of prosthetic meeting flesh and he was back down in the sand in seconds. That’s what gave him pause to examine the gear he was left with.
The tag is the last thing he found. “Chousuke Mushimura.” He reads, “Guess that’s me.” He turns it over in his hand before attaching it to his person. He slowly gets to his feet again, more familiar with the false leg he’s equipped with, taking a few careful steps. It feels a little weird, a bit sore. Was this a recent injury? He has no idea.
He shoulders the bag. He should find other people, yes. But he should probably figure out what this island will and will not provide. Maybe he could find something to fish with, or maybe some fruit. He finds that he is very hungry. He should eat soon, to keep his strength up. So instead of going off down the beach, he heads deeper into the island, hoping to find something to eat.
