Puffy saying that it's actually terrifying that Dream just doesn't speak during tense moments of the manhunts. Makes them wait and sit there and doesn't say anything and is doing things, that's psychological warfare baby!

And then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, everything was fine. I guess that's how it works, doesn't it?
thinking about saps rewatch of the 4v1 where dream traps them on the nether roof and his reaction being basically 'yeah he just completely memed us i dont know how we didn't have flint and steel' while know that it was strategically timed by dream because he'd been paying attention to the fact that george was the only one who was using one and that he broke it and that he devised this trap specifically to play on that like his mind is crazy. hes insane
5v1revival it's really cool to see the way the hunters calculate odds as well. With Sam and the iron, Ant and Sap fully left him as a lost cause because they had no gear and it simply wasn't worth it to try and defend. But when they are all geared up and fighting together, the priority seems to shift from 'killing Dream' to 'making sure Dream doesn't kill a hunter'
Maintaining their number advantage (as much as possible) is how they can push and overpower because in direct pvp it becomes a war of attrition. Part of that is managing his resources and making sure he doesn't get anymore, primarily through hunter deaths
Seen a bunch of comments about how if dream had 9.5 hearts instead of 10 the manhunts would be over so quick, but that's not true!! Not to harp on his health budgeting, but he's keeping track of that stuff! He knows approximately how much damage any hit/fall etc. will do and if he can afford to lose that much at that time, and getting down to half a heart so frequently and still not dying is a testament to how he uses all his available resources to their fullest extents. I don't think the hunters have ever 1 tapped him when he's been in half a heart, because he knows when it's worth it and when it isn't
Plus, it absolutely makes for an incredible video
3v1april1st obviously it's done this way for the bit, but the fact that Dream can't pick up the hunters' items in this video really changes a lot of the beginning. They don't have to worry about him getting their items, so it looks like they are playing a little bit more aggressively, and Dream seems to realize this. His inventory is way more sparse throughout the first chase too, because he can't collect their stuff and he can't stop to gear up
Also, Dream's pretty vocal this vid, which is probably a combo of less people in the call, this being less serious over all, and the fact that he knows he's gonna edit it to be only him
Infectedhunters Sam and Daquavis have Dream separated from the others with his back to the bastion and are saying that they should kill him and they gotta kill him, and he's just staring them down saying he's fine when Sapnap is concerned about him. The hunters are hesitating, they're waffling and don't even end up actually engaging with him before they bail and decide to go after George instead. The aura, the menace, the reputation proceeds him
Arrogance works sometimes, what can I say?
6v1rematch
I love love it when they use in game chat, and of course George is my always always communicator. But also the hunters straight up dividing the vc is really funny (and a good strat! They have 4 other people to keep him entertained so it's fine. Plus taking two of the stronger personalities/more vocal hunter out mean that we get to hear more of the others)
