reading FSYY has me realizing Sun Wukong was genuinely one of the most respectful guys to men and women holy shit
like that monkey was more respectful than half the men in this book
#Sun Wukong is the guy who helps LXJ train and teaches her how to defend herself#without adding in the whole 'because you're a girl you gotta do this' thing unless she asks about it or something#shes a goddamn hero stop putting her up with the warriors#and a hero learns how to be respectful to everyone#mhmhmhmhmmmm#i need to make a big ol animatic post about them together
