I wish we could have gotten more on her parents tho, cuz it get's mentioned that her parents are pretty busy but not much else. Like... I wanna know where she got her attitude
I almost wish we could have gotten a parent teacher meeting type of situation with all the parents (or in some cases a guardian/trusted adult). Like... would Blake's parents be so busy they wouldn't be able to attend? would they show up and be supportive and we get to see a side of Blake where she's a bit lighter, she's happier, more relaxed, all because her parents are proud. or would we get the opposite, parents that show up but only say where she can improve and giving no praise for her progress
I would kinda like a scene of her and Avian waiting for her parents to show up and her insisting he just tell her directly as they won't be turning up. He refuses to believe it. Their time ends and Avian starts talking about rescheduling when Blake snaps, yelling they won't ever be coming before she storms off.
A bit of fluff with her running into Jack and his parents and them inviting her to join them for dinner (pre! Hot Beats relationship). She has an actually great night, loving every second and her secretly paying for the meal when no one's looking because she can't think of any other way to say thank you
Idk... wish we could have gotten that cuz with some characters seeing their parents explained a lot about them and I think it could've been really interesting
