Love Simon's betrayal because I don't think I've ever seen someone do it worse than he did. Just completely fell on his ass. Tried to say he didn't care, immediately got shouted at with "WHAT WE HAD WAS REAL," fumbles that, invites us along. Rage of being denied does not turn into direct violence just an aerial shouting match. Panicked when Ratha V aimed at us and immediately fucked off so that it couldn't happen again.
Even the sweetest corruption arc characters normally get like, a punch or two off. Simon what the hell was that.
Not very nice. Putting us to work to solve this big, confusing mystery of theirs.
Absolutely insane detail I spotted in the Stories 3 trailers that makes me extra scared for our lovely grey-haired companion
This scene here shows what looks like a little Simon, arm covered in Encroachment crystals, getting the help of a Legiana. I had figured this Legiana's Rider was Amara, but there's actually likely proof of this.
If you zoom in VERY closely...
There's the baby Rathalos tagging along!
So that means he SHOULD know who Ratha V is. However, Amara still has the adult Ratha V alongside her in later scenes. Be it repressing memories, upcoming betrayal, or something absolutely terrible happening upon him getting sight of Ratha V... it's not looking good for him at all, not even considering the MANY other red flags he's putting up.
Should I also mention Simon is the only companion to wear his Kinship stone on his right hand? Mirroring ours? And that this lets him mirror our animation for the Kinship double attack startup? In a game called Twisted Reflection?

This poster is absolutely gorgeous! Giggling about how it's lying though... he's not doing any of that Capcom, we haven't seen him in a cutscene beyond like 3/4ths the way into Chapter 1. Get that poor Legiana off the field!
Malzeno and Arkveld looking splendid as always, and Zin's a cute addition. Been loving seeing all the hype around Festa!!
