Alex: How was your day? Sorry I'm just getting around to texting now, it's been kinda crazy over here.
Alex: I hope I get to see your face soon! I'm not letting you forget about that lunch you owe me!
Alex’s ocean colored eyes couldn’t help but scan over the grandiose ballroom as she walked into the venue where the prom was being held. Heels would’ve been heard clacking on the marble floors as she walked around if the music hadn’t drowned out almost any other sound. She knew it would be something great when she heard it was being held in the Beauty and the Beast castle but even this surpassed all expectations. For the first time since her daughter Charlie was born, Alex was getting a chance to go out and enjoy herself for the night and she would be damned if she was going to waste that opportunity and what better way than to dress up and get to see an abundance of friends she hadn’t been able to see in so long thanks to busy and conflicting schedules that put them at all different parts of the world at all times. The fact that they could all come together tonight was truly something special.
Among the list of people Alex was most excited to see one happened to walk in not long after her and she smiled approaching the fellow footballer. “Hey you. Well, I might not have been able to bring you to Disney in Orlando but at least we get to meet here, right? Sort of makes up for it. It’s so good to see you! Want to go get a drink and catch me up on life? My time might be limited if my Disney ban counts in Japan, too.” The brunette couldn’t help but laugh at her unfortunate circumstances of being banned from Disney properties thanks to being part of a rowdy group of friends who all got a little too drunk at Epcot back in Florida. It had been a few years, maybe she was good now? Hopefully she was because she wasn’t anywhere near ready to end her night, it was just getting started. @hfamemats
