when I started shipping it if I did: probably season 3 but i didn’t know yet? season 4 opened doors for me so here i am <3

my thoughts: ilovethemsosososososomuch. their buildup in season 3 was so cute? the glances, that dress scene (whew) and sparky? chef’s kiss. they’re overhated and it does not please me at all. i get that they might not be everyone’s cup of tea (well it applies to everything in the universe actually, but uh anyways) but the respect is really lacking in this fandom honestly. (i could go on for days but um let’s not, feel free to drop an ask or message me tho, up for civil conversations that doesn’t rely on bashing) they’re also the reason i started to content create (skills are definitely a work in progress for sure shshsnn) + why i joined tv show twitter? never knew it existed, and then tumbled upon tumblr too. met some really really sweet people (like you, olivia <3 and @sunshineparkers​ + many more? so so grateful to have found like minded people! both the ship and people supporting it has really help me cope with 2020 tbh, 2019 was personally so bad it genuinely can’t compare to this year.

what makes me happy about them: i’ve never seen mac this kind of happy (at least, imo & just fyi: ‘kind’ here is not a quantifier. more like a type sort of ‘kind’?) and that just makes me go: 🥺 ; i love their banter so much, and seeing desi’s soft side is always a win heh. they know so much about and complement each other. and oh, a realistic portrayal of a relationship, instead of the usual fluff ups.

what makes me sad about them: nothing really about them that makes me sad? but again, probably the lack of respect from the fandom (like, don’t @ me and say that “oh it was the writers’ fault” etc etc. at this point, it’s already way beyond how they were written (and we can all see that) and i think deep down, the faction of the fandom knows that themselves. but since that faction has a superiority complex, it’s hard to get them to admit it. — of course though, exceptions exist, just really rare. i’ve met maybe 3 nice/civil stans/fans from that faction? and it’s truly such a pity bc we could all be good friends but oh well, it is what it is *shrugs* (okisaidiwon’tdiscussthehatebutsjsjaijustdidalittle, ahhah)

things done in fanfic that annoys me: -

things I look for in fanfic: fluff maybe? i’m not really picky, the writers of this ship always manage to nail their fics!

who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: definitely both people outside the phoenix. (i said what i said, y’all)

my happily ever after for them: a wedding, like a mix of kodam (where my kodam stans at?) and densi’s weddings perhaps, i can definitely see it. maybe, they’ll both eventually become co-oversights. in my opinion, i can see one kid. two would be rare, but cool to see in canon how both mac and desi parent two kids?

who is the big spoon/little spoon: canon made it clear, desi’s def the big spoon

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: helping mac finish up his impromptu projects at home, only to make space for more (oops, did i lie) and maybe once in a while, kayaking?
